AMS Vending Machines

AMS vending machines, also known as Automated Merchandising Systems, was founded in 1997 by the late Roy Steeley. A veteran in the vending industry, Steeley’s experience dated back to the 1930’s when he began his vending career with Victor Products. He later joined Dixie Narco, climbing the professional ladder to serve as president of the company. At the age of 67, he retired from Dixie Narco. Then, he founded Royal Vendors in 1988 to manufacture a line of innovative cold drink machines.

He sold Royal Vendors in 1996, and started AMS Vendors in 1997. Once again with unique and innovative technology, Steeley transformed the vending industry. He designed a glass front snack machine with a novel vend verification feature called SENSIT. He also added a ground breaking cabinet that uses insulated foam as a structural element.
